Guide
From kitesurf to wingfoil: how long does it take?
An independent kitesurfer usually needs 4 to 6 hours to get up on the foil. A complete beginner needs more like 6 to 10 hours. Wingfoiling needs less wind than kitesurfing, so at Le Morne it opens up more days on the water.

What does kitesurfing give you?
You already know how to read the wind, position yourself on the water and follow the right-of-way rules. That is what saves several hours compared with a complete beginner.
What changes?
The wing is held in your hands, with no lines or bar. Balance happens on the foil, a board that lifts above the water.
Which lesson should I choose?
Wingfoil lessons cost the same as kitesurf lessons: 2 hours for €150 private, or €80 per person semi-private. To go further, the 4-hour package costs €300 private (€160 per person semi-private), and the 6-hour package €435 (€235 per person).
Once you are independent, supervision costs €30 per hour and rental €20.
